What does Letsema TM Logistics do?
Letsema TM Logistics is a South African road freight company based in Centurion, Gauteng, operating Mercedes-Benz Actros truck tractors with superlink flatdeck trailers to move bricks, cement, timber, steel, granite and agricultural bulk across South Africa. We are based in Centurion, Gauteng and were established in May 2024.
What areas do you cover?
We operate nationwide from Centurion, Gauteng. Our busiest corridors run into Limpopo (Mokopane, Tzaneen, Thabazimbi) and the North West (Brits), plus distribution across the Pretoria, Centurion and Johannesburg belt. Longer-haul destinations are served on planned lead times.
How much can one of your vehicles carry?
A superlink flatdeck combination gives roughly 18 m of usable deck (about 6 m on the front link and 12 m on the rear link) and typically carries up to about 34 tonnes of payload. The exact figure depends on axle loading and legal limits on the route, so we confirm it against your specific load before quoting.
Is my cargo insured?
Yes. Every load is carried under Goods-in-Transit insurance. If your procurement process requires it, we will supply the certificate before you release the freight.
Can I track my load?
Yes. Every vehicle carries live satellite tracking and four cameras. You can ask for a position at any point during the trip and get an immediate answer rather than a call back.
How do I get a quote, and how long does it take?
Send the collection point, the delivery point, approximately what the load weighs and how it is packaged. Send it through the enquiry form, by email or on WhatsApp. A written rate normally comes back the same working day.
What information do you need to quote accurately?
Five things: where it loads, where it delivers, approximate tonnage, how it is packaged (pallets, packs, blocks, bags), and when it needs to move. Access details and whether a forklift or crane is available at each end will make the quote firmer and avoid surprises.
Do you take one-off loads or only ongoing contracts?
Both. Single loads are welcome and there is no minimum volume to get a quote. Several of our regular clients started with one urgent load.
Are you VAT registered and can you invoice a company?
Yes. Letsema TM Logistics (Pty) Ltd is VAT registered and issues tax invoices. Company registration number is K2024305829.
Do you have a Letter of Good Standing?
Yes, a current Department of Employment and Labour Letter of Good Standing (COIDA), which most industrial sites require before a vehicle is allowed on the premises.
What documents can you supply for a vendor or tender pack?
Company registration (K2024305829), VAT registration, Department of Employment and Labour Letter of Good Standing, and Goods-in-Transit insurance certificates. Ask once and we will send the full pack.
What cargo can you not carry?
We run flatdecks, so we are not set up for free-flowing bulk that needs a tipper, temperature-controlled freight, tankers, or abnormal loads requiring permits and escorts. If your freight falls outside what we do, we will tell you rather than take the booking and hope.
How is a load secured on an open deck?
With the kit that suits the cargo: ratchet straps over corner plates for palletised and banded freight, chains over hardwood dunnage for steel and granite, cargo nets over bagged loads, and tarpaulins over anything that cannot get wet. All of it travels on the vehicle.
Can you deliver to a construction site?
Yes, if the site can take a combination roughly 22 m long, has firm ground and can offload it. Tell us about gate width, turning space, surface and available equipment when you enquire, and we will confirm before dispatch.
What are your operating hours?
Office hours are 06:00–18:00 Monday to Friday and 07:00–13:00 on Saturday. Loads are planned and dispatched outside office hours by arrangement.
Do you do cross-border transport?
By arrangement. Cross-border work needs lead time for documentation, so ask before you plan a deadline around it rather than after.
Still need an answer?
Call a director, send a WhatsApp, or put the load through the enquiry form. All three reach a human.
